September 2009

In September, Ethan, Everett and I went to Kings Dominion with Jerry, Laurie and Nathan Miller. Ethan had a blast riding rides with a friend!

Sitting outside the library in Ashland
Ashland is such a cool place to watch the trains go by

Everett was slow to accept solids but finally at 5 months was doing well.he loves the jumper!
...and the Boppy...

...and taking baths with Ethan.
Everett found his toes this month.

Ethan has to try out all of the toys before Everett does. The lazy days of summer.

Tailgating for the NASCAR race in Richmond. Everett's first NASCAR experience.
Everett even took a nap

My boys!
Ethan loves his uncle Hank.

I hope they never grow up!

MMM!
Ethan used to sit just like this when he was this age!
Ethan's first day of preschool. Doesn't he look so happy? About 10 minutes later he was wailing "NO! I DON'T WANT TO GO!!!", and nearly ripped off the headrest in front of him during drop-off. Needless to say, I decided to walk him in for the next several weeks until he got used to the whole idea that he would, indeed survive!
Ethan's first trip to the dentist
...he did great. No cavities! (thank the Lord! He would definitely have to be gassed if we had to go through any type of drilling)

Everett's 3 month portraits

August 2009

Ethan is so adventurous! He could ride this ride all day long, while Roy and I both get nauseous after one ride.

Ethan's first time bowling
Everett's first time too

Look at that form!
Ethan was mimicking a guy next to us who's leg went up after every time he threw the ball.

Monkey see, monkey do.

There was no question it was time to retire the bassinet when appendages started popping out of it during naps

It was a HOT day at Maymont!
