May 1, Spring Richmond NASCAR race

Tailgating for the spring Richmond NASCAR race....this has become a little tradition.  The boys have so much fun at the park where we tailgate.  Maybe one day they will be able to stay with us to watch a race.  It may take a while though since neither of them can sit still for more than a few seconds at a time!

It was such a hot day.  I wasn't able to stay for the race this year because Grandma was sick and couldn't come watch the boys.  When we got home, I set up the baby pool so we could all cool off.  Poor Everett got sunscreen in his eyes and was a MESS!!!  It should be a prerequisite that baby sunscreen be "no tear"!
Whoa mom!  Would you put down the camera and supervise me already???
Another day at the Children's Museum of Richmond

Everett always shares his snacks with the dogs!
Everett likes to carry things around in his mouth and crawl around the house.  I think this is what children do when they are raised with wolves....hmmm, think the second child gets less attention than the first???

Mischief maker

Um, did I do that?!
250 sandwich bags doesn't seem like a whole lot until you have to pick them up one at a time!
Oh well, he was having too much fun to get upset!  What is it about 11 months of age?  Ethan started getting into mischeif at that age as well....although his messes were slightly different-----
Everett loves playing with the dogs, and he really seems to understand the need to be gentle with them.

Another day at Lewis Ginter

I fell in love with the photo opportunities at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, so I took the boys one day and got a membership.  I can't believe I forgot my camera, so all these photos were taken with my cell phone.  Not too bad for a phone!
There's just no keeping this one out of the water!

Our favorite pastime--playing in the yard

WHEEEE!!!
Child labor laws don't apply at this house!
Both kids are happiest when they are outdoors!
