Children's Museum

Another fun-filled day at the children's museum. We finally got a year membership to the museum, so there will be many more trips there in the future. I'm sure Ethan won't mind a bit!

Why do they have to grow up so fast?!

On Wednesday, Sep. 19, Debbie and Sean Suess came to visit us. Ethan seemed to really enjoy being the big kid for once. What a fun afternoon!

Trip to Grandma's

Grandma Pomeroy's birthday was on September 8, so Ethan and Mommy went to visit her on Sept. 11 and stayed a couple days. We had a great time, as you can see!Ethan had never played with Mr. Potato Head, but he enjoyed experimenting with all of the pieces that came along with it!

Now that the pool is closed, watering the plants has become the main source of entertainment around the Barnes household
-Ethan playing with headsets as Mommy and Daddy get ready for the Richmond NASCAR race At least Ethan likes the new dog bed!
We keep trying to put away some toys that Ethan is growing out of, but somehow he seems to find them and a newfound interest in them before they make it to the attic!

trip to Bass Pro

Last weekend we went to Bass Pro Shop in Hampton Roads for Roy to get some stuff for his big hunt in Wyoming the first week in October. Although Daddy was shopping, Ethan seemed to think that we were at an amusement park. What a neat place to get up close and personal with some big animals (even though they're stuffed!).

-Ethan saying "gobble gobble"...his first time seeing a turkey-

The aquarium and waterfall was the coolest part!

Diana and Jacob's visit

Last week, Diana and Jacob Mitchell stopped by to visit while passing through Richmond on their way home to Cary, N.C. from visiting with family up north. It had been 4 years since I had seen Jacob. He was only 6 months old last I saw him...what a sweet young man he has grown into. Ethan enjoyed playing with a big boy, and although we only had a few hours before they were on their way, we had a great visit. Thanks for stopping by!!
