May 11, 2010--Everett's ONE!!!

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY, EVERETT!!!!

Since his birthday fell on a weekday, we just had a quiet little celebration as a family, then had a get-together with the rest of the family that following Saturday.

He loved the cake...not at all surprising!

Everett ate every last bite of his cake!  Then he was jacked-up on sugar for 2 hours, making bedtime way later than usual....at least he was happy.

My how time flies!  I can't believe how quickly his first year of life passed.  We love you Evie!

Mother's day weekend

Roy and I took the boys fishing at the lake near our house.  Ethan was sad he didn't catch anything...but really, how many fish can you catch when your dad snips the hook off your bait???  It's just a matter of time before he figures it out!

I had a relaxing Mother's day with my boys.

Grandma came down to visit on Mother's day and gave Everett his birthday gifts. 

After jumping on Roy's back for about 5 minutes, Ethan decided to help him out in case he lost his lunch.  Such a helpful little guy!
