Everett's 6 month portraits

November 2009

We always love going to the Children's Museum of Richmond. Ethan milking his first cow...never mind it's not real. Or that the "milk" is really just water.

Can't you just feel the love?
We met Marcie, Joshua and Matthew at the museum. Ethan always has to love on Matthew, or our visit is not complete!

Everett watches everything his big brother does. Oh man, we are in trouble when this one starts walking!

This was at Aunt Renee's baby shower. Everett loves his cousin Ella, he was just tired and hungry in this picture.

Super Ethan!

This was my idea for a rainy day activity... a marble maze. Ethan played with it ALL day long.

Thanksgiving at Grandma's
Caught ya! It's tough getting pics with this guy anymore, he's always on the run!
Showing Grandma some Karate moves
Everett's first Thanksgiving meal: ham, sweet potatoes, green beans and some bread. Ethan's Thanksgiving meal: 2 chicken nuggets, some fruit snacks and about a dozen chocolate chip cookies!

Our baby neice, Elaina Rhea Sprouse was born around 8pm on November 28. We were lucky enough to see her only about an hour later. What a cutie!
Proud papa awaiting Elaina's first bath
We all love Christmas around here. We decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving, and Ethan's hyped up for a whole month waiting for Santa's arrival.

Everett supervised the whole decorating thing from his Jitter Buggy.
Ethan and I went to Joshua Meighan's 4th birthday party. Of course, Ethan had to get some Matthew love.
Saying something profound no doubt!

As long as I've got Teddy, I'm a happy camper!

October 2009

In October we went to Carter Mountain Orchard in Charlottesville, VA to pick some apples.
Roy is so multi-talented!

Everett LOVED the apples!

Ethan too!

My new definition of "working out"!
One of my favorite pictures of Ethan as a baby was in this crocheted outfit, and was taken at 1 month of age. By the time I realized I needed a picture of Everett in it, he was so big, he looked like a sausage stuffed in its casing! Oh well, I got the photo anyway.
I love my teddy!
Such a happy boy!

Everett loves to swing, just like his brother! On the ride to New Jersey to visit my aunt, uncle and cousins.

Checking out his cousins, Joey and Jaclyn

hanging with aunt Jen, Joey and Jaclyn Going into NY city. We'd just crossed the GW Bridge We went to the Museum of Natural History (backdrop for the movie "Night at the Museum").
Roy and Everett checking out the map of the museum.
Ethan was so excited, he could hardly contain himself!
Checking out the dinosaur exhibit

We went in the butterfly exhibit. It was SO cool. Everett was so fascinated with the butterflies flying around!

Ethan, Nathan and Joey listen to one of the museum workers talk about the butterflies.
Roy got some beautiful shots!

The whole family (you can even see Joe's reflection in the mirror)
It was an awesome, but tiring trip. Everett and Ethan did so well on the car rides there and home.

Everybody loves Sam!

Ethan had a blast riding on the tractor with Jake.

Halloween 2009

I had to get a picture of Everett in the costume Ethan wore his first Halloween.
Everett was going to be a Teddy bear since he loves his little teddy so much. It was just too hot for him to wear this plush get-up

We have such beautiful fall foliage around here!

Halloween party at the Little Gym. This was the only time Everett was able to wear his costume...it was just too hot around here to wear it trick or treating!

We just put Everett in his Halloween jammies to go trick or treating. It reached 80 degrees that day!

carving jack-o-lanterns.

I love Daddy!
Darth Vader was ready to go get some loot! Hand over the candy and nobody gets hurt.

What a great evening for a full moon!

Our first stop was at the neighbors' house. The boys continued trick-or-treating while I went home to pass out candy to the kiddos.

Ethan actually wanted to stop and come home to pass out candy to the other children. At the end, he was taking candy out of his pumpkin and giving it to the other kids... that's my boy!

September 2009

In September, Ethan, Everett and I went to Kings Dominion with Jerry, Laurie and Nathan Miller. Ethan had a blast riding rides with a friend!

Everett's 3 month portraits

August 2009

Ethan is so adventurous! He could ride this ride all day long, while Roy and I both get nauseous after one ride.

Everett's first time too

Look at that form!
Ethan was mimicking a guy next to us who's leg went up after every time he threw the ball.

Monkey see, monkey do.
